The Two Hundred Club of Union County- Due March 2, 2024

To be eligible for consideration, the applicant must be a graduating High School Senior and the son or daughter of an actively serving Police Officer, State Trooper (residing in Union County) or Firefighter (including volunteer firefighters) in Union County.

Ivy Dream Foundation Scholarship- Due March 23, 2024
​
The Ivy Dream Foundation, a charitable arm of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated of Scotch Plains, New Jersey, wants to assist you in achieving your educational goals. We are offering a variety of scholarships and awards to high school students of Union County, New Jersey. Please see the attached form which includes the scholarship (female) and book award (Male) applications, guidelines and requirements.
The application deadline is Saturday, March 23, 2024.

NAWC NEW JERSEY SCHOLARSHIP-Due March 15, 2024
The New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Water Companies Association is offering two $5,000 scholarships to high school students who will be attending a New Jersey college or university and is interested in the water utility industry or any related field.

NJCTS Scholarship- Due March 15, 2024
​
The NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders, Inc. (NJCTS) is proud to announce the 2024 scholarship awards to graduating New Jersey high school seniors diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome or another tic disorder.
Established in 2004, the NJCTS Youth Scholarship Program has awarded more than 350 scholarships to graduating high school seniors in every corner of New Jersey.
Eligible applicants must be:

Diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome or another tic disorder from a qualified medical practitioner.
-
A resident of the State of New Jersey.
-
A high school senior in a private, public, or home school.
-
Planning to attend a college or trade school on a part-time or full-time basis in Fall 2024.

Complete the entire application and return (preferably in one file) by March 15, 2024 to aosborn@njcts.org. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Applications are reviewed by the NJCTS Youth Scholarship Committee. The winners will be selected based upon academic achievement, community involvement and accomplishments.

Winners will be announced by May 1, 2024, and will be notified by email. Applicants will be contacted regardless of whether or not they received a scholarship.

Hagan Scholarship (Due March 1, 2024) (Links to External Site)

The Hagan Scholarship is a life changing scholarship. The scholarship provides up to $7500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters, providing recipients with the opportunity to graduate debt free.
​
Applicants must graduate from a high school located in the United States. Applicant’s Adjusted Gross Household Income reported for 2022 Federal Income Tax Purposes must not have exceeded $100,000.

NJ AFPA Scholarship (Due March 1, 2024)

The purpose of the scholarship program is to financially support post-secondary education for qualifying high school seniors attending their first year of college. The NJAFPA scholarship is worth $2,500, and is non-renewable.
Student Eligibility
The NJAFPA Scholarship Program is open to candidates meeting all the following eligibility criteria:

High school students who are on track to graduate by the conclusion of the 2023-24 academic year.

Enrolled in a public school district or charter school (public school academy) with at least one current NJAFPA member*; AND
-
Must have participated in at least one of the State or Federally funded programs, such as Title I, ESL/Bilingual or Basic Skills Improvement Program (at some point between pre-kindergarten and 12th grade).

LHS Choral Music Scholarship (Due March 8, 2024)

**Applicants must have participated in at least one year of Linden High School Choirs to be eligible for this award**
Please include the following information: 1. Student Essay: In approximately 500 words, explain how engaging in the performing arts has affected you and how you can apply your experiences to your future academic goals. 2. Past Performing Arts experience: Include all years in choirs.

Tzu Chi Foundation Mid-Atlantic Region Scholarship (Due March 16, 2024

Eligibility

Applicant demonstrates financial need for college tuition and related expenses.

Applicant is a U.S. high school graduating senior or equivalent.

Applicant has a minimum 3.0 GPA.
-
Applicant will enroll in an accredited U.S. college full-time for the academic year 2024-2025.

BP Community Scholarships (March 22, 2024) Links to an External Site

This year marks the 37th year of the BP Community Scholarship Program serving the New York and northern New Jersey area. Since its inception, the program has awarded over $3.7 million and over 2,200 scholarships benefiting promising students.
​
Each year our scholarship awardees are honored at a scholarship reception. This annual event provides an opportunity to recognize the scholarship awardees along with their families and also provides an opportunity for our students to meet BP representatives and other invited dignitaries.
​
BP is pleased to support this initiative as a way of giving back to the communities in which we operate by encouraging local high school seniors to pursue their dreams of going to college.

Zeta Amicae of Plainfield Scholarship (Due 3/2/24)
​
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was founded in 1920 based on the ideals of Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love and Finer Womanhood. Today it is a professional non-profit organization with over 120,000 members in chapters throughout the United States, Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and Europe.
​
Zeta Amicae is the sorority’s women’s auxiliary group formed in 1948 to assist and support the graduate chapters in their local communities. Over the years the auxiliaries have rendered invaluable service to the Sorority and to the communities they serve.
​
Zeta Amicae of Plainfield is the community-based auxiliary of Eta Omicron Zeta Chapter, a graduate chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. The graduate chapter and the auxiliary serve the communities in Union County, New Jersey.

Scholarship Guidelines
Minority female student strongly encouraged.
A High School senior who resides in Union County
A relative of either the Eta Omicron Zeta chapter or Zeta Amicae of Plainfield Auxiliary. (not required)
Member of the Archonette Club. (not required)
Applicant must be planning to attend a two or four year college, technical, or vocational school in the fall of 2024 or the spring of 2025.

Linden Chamber of Commerce Scholarship. Due March 27, 2024
​
Scholarship will be awarded to applicants in all areas including Trade Colleges.
Scholarships are paid directly to the institution applicant is attending only upon the furnishing of proof of enrollment at said college. Recipients must be accepted by an accredited institution of higher learning (college, university, career or vocational school) and be enrolled Business, Accounting, Banking, Arts, Health Fields, or Trade curriculum. Scholarship recipients must provide proof of enrollment by September 30, 2024 or the Scholarship Committee reserves the right to reallocate the funds.
ELIGIBILITY
Applications will be limited to High School Seniors living in Linden.
Applications that are not computer generated will not be considered.
Diploma Requirements: The applicant must be a bona fide student of a private, parochial, or public school eligible to receive a high school diploma at the completion of the senior year prior to September 1, 2024 of the effective academic school year.
Aspirations: The student must have a definite plan to pursue a post-high school program of education or training on a full-time basis, in there chosen curriculum.
Character: The applicant must have consistent attendance, good citizenship traits, and be of sound moral character.

Kiwanis Scholarship (Due March 29, 2024)

Up to $1,000
​
Students who are planning to enroll in a college, university, career or vocational school by September 20, 2024.
​
Applications are limited to High School Seniors living in Linden.
​
Applications that are not computer generated will not be considered.
Aspirations: The student must have a definite plan to pursue a post-high school program of education or training on a full-time basis, in their desired curriculum.

KLW Scholarship (Due March 31, 2024)

The Imani Kuumba Graduate Chapter of Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship Inc., in partnership with Imani Kuumba Foundation is pleased to provide you with the 2024 KLW Scholarship Application.

Organization of Latino Actuaries (OLA) 2024-25 Scholarship. Due March 31, 2024
OLA will award academic scholarships up to $7,500 to Latine students who are interested in pursuing the actuarial profession.
