Success at Linden High School is achieved through our rigorous academic program and wide range of extra-curricular activities offered to students. The educational program provides students with a selection of 171 different courses in 11 academic areas. Our school is proud to house the celebrated International Baccalaureate Diploma Program and has had students earn internationally recognized IB Diplomas for several years. International Baccalaureate certificate courses are offered to students for potential college credit as well as Honor level courses in the five major academic areas.

In addition, special curriculums are available in Graphic Design, Computer Aided Drafting, Cosmetology, Engineering, Business and Electronics. Our World Language Program offers instruction in Chinese, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish. Exchange programs to China, France, Italy, Germany and Spain; provide our students with a true taste of cultural diversity and a lifetime of memories. Our Confucious Classroom at Linden High School bridges the gap between school, community and our partners in China. Our strengths also enter into the realm of engineering with science and math based programs such as Project Lead the Way. This Project allows our students and faculty members to work in partnership with private sector companies and institutions of higher education. Process Technology is a course that is also offered which affords students the opportunity to explore the chemical and process industry with an option to succeed in a two-year degree program in Process Technology. The Linden High School Alternative Program provides a non-traditional approach to education for students who find it a challenge to function in a standard high school setting.
