The following scholarships have a due date in the month of February

New Jersey Relocation Council- Due Feb 29, 2024

This application package is being sent to high schools in Bergen, Essex, Morris, Ocean, Somerset and Union counties. Eligibility for the scholarship program is limited to qualified students, and applications must be complete to be considered.

 

  1. Eligible seniors based on the following criteria:

    1. Relocated more than 50 miles, 

    2. Relocation happened between grades 9th and 12th and the student changed schools; 

Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 (or equivalent achievement on a comparable scale)

Theta Phi Omega Scholarship- Due Feb 16, 2024

Submissions will NOT be accepted after the 16th

 

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Theta Phi Omega Chapter is offering scholarships to graduating seniors.  Scholarship candidates should encompass the same goals and aspirations as the Sorority.  Candidates should demonstrate academic achievement, leadership qualities and financial need. Acceptance or anticipated acceptance to an accredited four-year college or university are a mandate for this scholarship.  Award amounts vary and are disclosed to the awardees directly in writing.

Union County Club, National Association of Negro Business & Professional Women's Club-Due Feb 16, 2024

Deadline: February 16th - must mail application with documentation

1. copy of transcript

2. two letters of recommendation

3. One page Essay "Explain how you have benefited through the contributions of a past or contemporary Historic Trailblazer"

Qualifications: Must also have plans to continue their education at an accredited college, business, or trade school.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar  (Links to an External Site) 

The 2024 HSF Scholar Program Application is now open and closes on February 15, 2024

​

Eligibility:

  • Must be of Hispanic heritage

  • U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA

  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students; minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for college and graduate students

  • Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school, in the U.S., for the 2024-2025 academic year

  • Submit the FAFSA or state-based financial aid forms (if applicable)
